Evergreen Elementary Community Club

The Evergreen Community Club will be holding our annual “Toy Drive” December 7th – December 11th.  During this week we’ll be asking all Evergreen families to bring a new, unwrapped toy of a non-violent nature to donate to charities and local families in need.  In order to collect a variety of toys, we are suggesting the following guidelines for your donations:

• Kindergarten & Grade 1 - Bring a toy suited for a child: Age 1 to 6
• Grade 2 & Grade 3 – Bring a toy suited for a child:  Age 7 to 11
• Grade 4 & Grade 5 – Bring a toy suited for a child:  Age 12 and older

A collection site will be set up in front of the school each morning between 7:30am – 8:15am.  In addition to toys, we will be accepting gift cards or cash donations in any amount.  Cash donations will be converted into toy certificates. 

If you are a family that would benefit from our TOY DRIVE, please submit your information to Margaret Wong in the office.  All information will be kept strictly confidential.

From November 16-20, the Community Club will collect canned foods to donate to families at our school who need assistance, especially during this time of year.  During the collection period, a table will be set up at the front of the school so that families can easily make donations during morning drop-off.  Gift cards are also welcome. 

Please let Mrs. Wong in the office know if you or anyone you know would benefit from this assistance.  Last year, we were able to help a number of families and their gratitude was overwhelming.  Your generosity is much appreciated!  If you would like more information about the Food Drive, please contact Sue Swisher.
